Dear Jeffco County Commissioners, Planning Commission and Planning Staff,

We oppose the Full Send Bike Ranch now known as the Shadow Mountain Bike Park development proposed for Shadow Mountain.

Developers are proposing to build a 250-acre lift access downhill mountain bike park just West of Conifer on Shadow Mountain Drive and South Warhawk Road. This development will greatly impact the health, safety, and welfare of the residents and doesn’t belong on Shadow Mountain Drive where it is not compatible with the existing residential land use and does not comply with area plans already adopted by the County. Additionally, the meadow they are proposing to build on doesn’t have the infrastructure necessary for a commercial enterprise that is expecting more than 300 cars coming into and out of the bike park with 700+ downhill mountain bikers daily. The bike park will not be able to mitigate all of the adverse impacts on the people, wildlife, land and water they will have. Please join us in opposing this devastating development.
